We chose to tig weld our gussets instead of mig welding them. Either would be fine. The tig welds look much cleaner and detailed though. Our kit took a little under 2 hours to install. This was our first time installing this kit though. The quality and fit was excellent and spot on. For the price and quality, this kit can not be beat.
